PURPOSE
A Transport packaging set PKTIB-120N is a product for temporary storage and transportation of sealed radiation sources with the isotope 60Со or 137Cs, extracted from technological units of physical protection of types E1 – E3, E1М – E4М, BGI-30, BGI-45, BGI-60А, BGI-75А, BGI-90А, BGI-45U, BGI-60U, BGI-75U, BGI-90U.
FEATURES
Transport packaging set PKTIB-120N is the product with high mechanical strength, heat resistance and protective properties. It excludes loss or leakage of radioactive substances and provides effective protection against ionizing radiation.
The complete set meets PBPRM-2006 requirements for transport packaging sets of type B.

APPLICABILITY
Transport packaging set PKTIB-120N can be used at the enterprises that have a necessity in removing from operation of the disused spent high-activity sources of ionizing radiation with different types of isotopes, and in transporting them to a storage.
PKTIB-120N keeps it`s required properties under the following climatic conditions:
– ambient temperature: from -40 to +70°С;;
– reduction of ambient pressure to 0,25 kgf/cm2 (25 kPa);
– relative humidity: 98% at 35°С (308 °К);
– external hydraulic pressure: not less than 1,5 kgf/cm2 (150 kPa).
